I am thinking of setting up a personal blog site which will mainly consist of articles written by myself. However, these articles will be summaries of some other interesting articles I found on the web. Should I start each article by saying that this is a summary of article XYZ written by author ABC, or should I include a section called “References” at the end of each article?

just site you work if you r worried. but i don’t think you have any thing to worry about. i know my college teacher use a program that will scan a paper and tell them if there is any thing on the web that it was copied from. i don’t know what it is called but i am sure if you look for it you can find it.

List your references both ways. As long as you show your sources and don’t try to take someone else’s work for your own, no one can accuse you of plagiarism. Besides, it’s a PERSONAL blog. Who cares?
